It's that time of year. Bendites of all shapes and sizes line up at the tire centers in preparation for the ODOT-mandated studded tire removal.

Of course, being a proctastinator and a cheapskate, I take the long lines at the tire center as a reminder to do it myself at home. Two cars later, after juggling 16 tires and 80 lugnuts, each torqued to 75-foot-pounds, I'm ready for spring.

Used the Sigma 20 for this shot so that I could get shallow DOF and get everything from my gloved hand (bare hand in this shot) to the tire and the garage floor.
