I don't know what these are -- maybe stands for temporary signs.
Somehow these make me think of a church. I like the way they build upward and I love the way they fill the space in an empty way.

You have such a good eye, and all the prospects in the world for a second career should you ever wish to unite your avocation and your vocation. These shots are as good as anything I see on the nytimes, for just one example.

Oh, and in re: NPR. I had stopped listening lately because of a few to many interviews where the subject basically said (over and over) that they had no idea how things would turn out. Then it was pledge drive time. I should say that we are total public radio addicts, and that the tuner several photos down is on Oregon Public Broadcasting for 80% of waking hours on the weekend.
I'd been listening to a local independent rock station which is actually quite good, and impresses me daily. Heck, they even have solid news coverage, not just the music section of People magazine.
But old habits die hard, so I went back to NPR this week. Oy.
Not sure what I'll tune to tomorrow on the way to work.
