Yay, a vertical shot to break things up!
I've had my eye on this building for a little while. The stripes are trademark Pacific Pride, but they're on an interesting old building. The top is the we-don't-care-make-it-cheap cinder block construction, but it's got the nice lava rock detail on the bottom.
The colors drew me to the building, but the contrasts between the painted blocks and the cinder details, post and gas line, and stripes of the door are what I like about this shot.
I'm 99% sure I shot this straight-on, so the difficulty iin making all the lines straight is (I think) the building not being square.
Really itching to get some more stranger photos, but I've lost my bravery.
