Needed to get some photos of my Canon gear that I'll be selling.
Setup two large sections of foam insulation at 45 degree angles to the camera, with a gap to shoot through. Lit each panel with a flash shooting toward the camera.
First off-camera flash work with the D700. So far, so good. Solid synch at 1/200, even with the Cactus triggers.
The Canon 50mm f/1.4 is a great lens, by the way. This is what I was shooting 90% of the time.
