Sorry to my family for making them wait. I couldn't miss the shot at this steaming bowl of baked sweet potatoes and apples, backlit by the evening sun.
I need to cool my jets a bit with the shallow DOF. I did take some shots with a smaller aperture, but I liked the steam best on this shot.
Also need to figure out a better way of keeping things straight when leaning over. I wasn't aiming for the "high fashion" tilt on this shot.

I don't think the tilt is all that bad. It seems like if the frame were straightened up at all, you'd either loose the side of the steam or a bunch of the light on the food. Even if by accident, I think the tilt is warranted on this shot. Anyway, that dish was well worth the wait!
